Generally everything shuts down post 9pm...though there are some massage and drinking holes that I would never dare walk in alone. As Richard started to touch on, S. Songkhram is a great place to get fattened up. Never go hungry here. One observation I have noticed is Samut Songkhram residents are generally bigger and taller than elsewhere in Thailand, probably a lot to do with all the food and nutrients here.
