Visited Safari World in Jan 2007 with Jintana and her two daughters.Lucky to have had a Driver who advised us to Visit the "shows" first due to schedules. Then drove into the Park and took many photos.Highlight was feeding the Giraffes and for the Kids; getting soaked by the Dolphins ! ;-) - Homejames

My family visited this park in Jan 2008 and we had a fantastic day! We fed the giraffes up close and my child was so excited and had we had our pictures taken with the baby tiger as we fed him a bottle. I think our favorite part was the bird area where you feed them up close and they can land on you. I would recommend this place! - Tammy

Is it really necessairy to see orang-utans in boxer-shorts boxing each other or shaved and painted with make-up? Training orang-utans is forbidden by law - but nobody cares. They belong to the jungle, but they are taken away from their killed mothers and imprisoned in small cages. So may be you can be lucky not having seen the show - may be good for the child, you've taken with you. Sorry, I just saw a documentary film about orang-utans and the criminal trade practics withtheir babys. In safari-world, in 2005 I think, more than 100 orang-utans should have been taken back to Borneo, but only 48 reached their destination. The others were seen years later again in the show, that was forbidden in 2005. Sorry, my english is not so good, but may be some people think about the animals before visiting a show of wild animals, that may not be imprisoned by law. - Anuschka/Germany

I like Safari World, been there several time with friends. I paid the foreigner's price once but if you are expat like me, just bring your work permit & speak a few words of Thai & the price is down. I was told the 2 price system was due to business reasons. We expat just have to except it cos actually it is everywhere including when you go shopping. My family like the Eggs World. It is very good. The shows were great too, though mostly in Thai. Orang-Utan was great too. As far as I know, they have very successful breeding. I am not against zoo as long as they take good care of the animals. - Judy
