It seems the sun goes wherever you do. Your pics are always real fine!

''border incursions by the French in the 1890’s.""

Wish someone would also write a blog about the attempts of colonists into Thailand. I know there must be books around etc. but a blog has its own nature! - trangam

Thanks. I am taking my first trip to Thailand and will be in Bangkok for 12 days. I have to stay in Bangkok because I am staying with a friend who is there on business and feel that it might be rude to take a weekend trip to, for example, Phuket. I am trying to find ways to enjoy myself such as taking a day trip like this, enjoying a beach, while still staying in Bangkok. I want to explore and make the best out of my trip without spending too much time traveling, but venturing away from the city and exploring places that are overlooked. Thanks for your advice. This is exactly what I was looking for. - Frankie D.
