Hello Richard,

You are indeed always at your best. Reading your article on Phra Pathom Chedi, I was reminiscent of my visit in 1989. There is really no parallel to thai-blogs in the web on any country. Also thanks for the sticky-rice in bamboo.

When I used to live on Phetkasem Road (right in the corner of Sai 3, only a few km away from Nakhon Pathom), I had the chance to visit Phra Pathom Chedi. The Museum is great and the books on sale there were also very interesting. - Thaistory

You've come up trumps again Richard. My partner who lives in Bangkok and I are always looking for interesting things to do and places to go when I come to visit from New Zealand. Nakhon Pathom fits the bill perfectly but now will have to get an overnight stay as we want to see the Old Royal Palaces in another of your day trips.

This site is a gold-mine and my guy and I use it as reference whenever we decide a trip is in order.

Than you,
